Hello,

Hello, my HP DeskJet 3634 printer passes all tests over Wi-Fi or USB but does not print. It’s a mystery.
Thank you.

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 53.0

Thank you, but I have reinstalled several times without success.
Note: I recently changed my box from Orange to Free. This printer worked fine via Wi-Fi for 6 months.
What surprises me is that it is identified and the tests are good, so the connection is okay.
The print queue empties after 5 seconds...but there is no reaction.

      Hello,
Reinstalling it multiple times has no meaning as long as this machine has not been completely uninstalled from the PC beforehand.
In order of things, you need to act as if this printer were unknown to the PC, in other words, not a single trace of it in the computer.
Then, and only then, you proceed with its reinstallation by downloading the complete suite of drivers/software corresponding to your operating system and its version (32 or 64 bits) from the HP website, HERE.
During the installation procedure, you will be prompted to connect it to the PC and choose Wi-Fi.
Assuming your operating system is Windows 10 64 bits, the installation file to download is DJ3630__Full_WebPack_1107.exe.
      Best regards.

    Hello,
This issue may depend on its installation on the PC.
For example, have you installed the complete version of drivers/software corresponding to the operating system used on the PC?
    Best regards.

Thank you for your answers, I will do as you say.
One small question: how can I be sure that there is "not a single trace of the printer in the computer"?
From the list of applications, I uninstall everything that is called HP, but what else should I do?
    Thank you.

      Good evening,
How can you be sure to have uninstalled the printer?
You obviously uninstall everything related to HP Deskjet 3634, however, assuming your computer is an HP brand, be careful about what you do!
After that, there is nothing more to do if you no longer see this printer on the PC.
      Best regards.

        Hello,
I'm getting back to you; I couldn't do it sooner, and I would have of course thanked you if the problem had been resolved.
I've tried everything, starting with your advice, but I'm still stuck on the same issue of no printing. Here is a list of clues that might help respond:
        - the printer is recognized and connected via Wi-Fi
        - the scan is working well
        - the internal HP tests are good, the cartridges are fine
        - there are no anomalies detected by Windows' printing troubleshooting system (I'm on Windows 10)
        - the printer worked for 6 months

        But:
        - print requests disappear from the print queue after 5 to 10 seconds
        - the HP Scan Doctor test fails at the "device status" (there is a cross, it has failed) but I cannot resolve it (screenshot available) Everything else is fine.
        - In the printer properties, under ports, when clicking on "configure the selected port," there is an error message: "an error occurred in port configuration"

Should I send this message to HP support?
        What is your opinion?
        Thank you very much.
