Dialog Box Display Issue

Hello,

I suddenly find myself with an unexplained issue regarding the display of dialog boxes. For example, when I want to download a file, the text formatting in the box is different and the options to select open or save are missing.



The same goes for confirmation dialog boxes, where the entire background and outline completely disappear... Only the buttons remain correct.


I already tried repairing Firefox but nothing works... So of course this doesn’t stop me from working, but it’s extremely annoying! Does anyone have a solution up their sleeve?

    Have you tried another browser?
    Completely reinstall Firefox.

      Under Thunderbird, it works perfectly, so it's indeed Firefox that's the issue. I would still like to try to find a less drastic solution than reinstalling. Thanks anyway!

    Uninstall Firefox then install another version or another browser.

    options
    tab Advanced
    tab General
    Category "Navigation"
    Uncheck the box "Use hardware acceleration when available"

    Close Firefox and restart it.

    NOTE:If the problem no longer occurs, then hardware acceleration was likely the cause. You can try to update your graphics drivers, then re-enable hardware acceleration to see if that fixes the problem, or just run Firefox without hardware acceleration. Otherwise, your problem is likely related to extensions or themes. Continue following the steps in this article to see if that helps.

    After a while, I finally decided to go for a complete reinstallation; backing up the profile isn't that complicated after all!
