Unable to access the Internet despite being connected

Hello everyone,

I’m posting again because I haven’t been able to find a solution to my problem.

Since yesterday I have an Internet connection but I can't access any browser (Mozilla, Chrome, Explorer) and updates aren’t occurring either.

However, I do have an Internet connection. I tried several things yesterday in the Control Panel but nothing works and in IP config it says that my media is disconnected, but when I ping, I can still reach something.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for my network card.

There’s also no issue with my box since I'm connected via Wi-Fi with my phone...

In short, I don’t understand anything, so I’m ready to follow your instructions ^^

My setup
Windows 10
Broadcom 4312 802.11b/g/n network card
64-bit operating system
Wi-Fi connection with Bbox
I don’t know if you need any more information.

Please be kind to me, I understand quickly, but I need things explained thoroughly :p

Thanks in advance to everyone for your help.
(I hope I didn’t mess up in the wrong section :D)

    Thank you for the link but I have already done all those steps, I did them again just in case but nothing works, I still can't access the internet.
    My connection shows no issues, it is connected as usual. When I open a browser, I get the normal startup page but when I perform a search, it just spins and nothing opens.

    Hi

    Let's first check your setup:

    Press and hold the Windows key, press R, and release both

    Type (or copy/paste to avoid typing errors) into the dialog box that opened

    cmd /k ipconfig/all > int.txt & notepad int.txt

    Then click OK

    Copy/paste what appears on the screen into your next response

    (If you don't have Internet access on the problematic PC, save the report displayed in Notepad onto a USB drive and transfer it using that drive to the PC with which you visit the forum)

    Unfortunately, I'm not going to make it easy for you; no restore points have been saved, so I can't do that manipulation :'(
    I'm currently trying to delete my Wi-Fi connection and recreate one, and to see if I can connect via Ethernet (haven't tested yet because I lost the cable...)

    In any case, whether Ethernet or Wi-Fi, it tells me no valid IP configuration...

      Unplug the Ethernet cable (you have both connections active) and restart the PC.

      Done but no change, I just plugged in the cable to do a test.

      I'm losing hope!!!

      ``` post an ipconfig /all
      Then
      Windows key + X key
      A key
      A Command Prompt (black window) appears
      Type these commands, pressing “enter” on the keyboard after each:
      ipconfig /flushdns
      netsh winsock reset
      netsh winhttp reset proxy
      netsh winhttp reset tracing
      netsh winsock reset catalog
      netsh int ipv4 reset catalog
      netsh int ipv6 reset catalog
      netsh int ip reset
      Restart the PC
      Finally, if it’s still not better and if you’re using Avast, uninstall it and restart the PC (it’s causing problems right now) ```
      I've already done all these steps, but I'll do them again just to be sure. I'll take care of it tonight when I get home from work.
    Hi,
    on your ipconfig/all,
    you do have an active and correct configuration for wifi, but not for ethernet. If I understand correctly, your first issue is with wifi.
    Is the ethernet through a direct cable?
    If you ping 8.8.8.8 with your wifi connection active, does it work or not?
    What is this wifi card:
    Wi-Fi Cardÿ802.11b/g/n (project)
    The MAC address 78-E4-00-FC-E7-3E indicates the (very) generalist Chinese manufacturer Foxconn.
    And... there you go!
      Yes, I had plugged a cable directly from the box but it doesn't work either. But I mainly want the Wi-Fi to work :(
      :-)
      it's just that it wasn't your network card...
      Otherwise,
      the ethernet connection?
      No, I think it was something that was blocking the connection (acting like an expert lol)
      I've never used an Ethernet connection and since the Wi-Fi is back, I haven't tested the Ethernet :/
        OK,
        that explains it,
        but try to get Ethernet working anyway, it might come in handy sooner or later.
