Hello everyone,

I want to do a mail merge in Word 2007 / Outlook 2007.

My base document is fed by an Access query.

During the final merge I have 2 types of errors:

1) Calculation error for record No. ... appearing for each record.
I removed all fields that perform a calculation (even just the date).
Nothing happens.

2) Outlook warning message indicating that a program is trying to send a message.
I tried applying the Microsoft procedure, nothing happens.

I need to validate these error messages so that the sending can proceed.
But I have more than 300 emails to send, so no way to proceed manually.

Thanks for your help.
See you, C15

    Hello m@rina,

    Thank you for these responses.

For point 1, I found the solution by enlarging my screen display. I noticed that I had a dot, instead of a space, lingering just before a brace in a calculated field based on the date; thus the calculation wasn’t executed.

For point 2, I had vaguely heard about this app; the link provided allowed me to install it and get it running without issue, unlike Microsoft's procedure which never worked.

    Thanks again.

    Hello,

For the first problem, I don’t have a solution without knowing more from your doc, your fields, your database, etc.

For the second solution, you can use the tiny Clickyes program that says yes for you
