How to Retrieve a Snapchat Story?

Hello, a few days ago I was with a friend and she posted a really funny video in her story. We watched it several times, but it turns out she forgot to save it. I would really like to recover it and I know that Snapchat stores all the data: the photos sent and received. This video must certainly be somewhere, but how can I retrieve it? Can you help me? Thank you :)

    No, you need to stop thinking that files on Snapchat are saved.
    You can't access them, and the software that seems to prove otherwise is all fake!
