Hello,
I am using Windows 10.
After installing a new antivirus (the one from Darty), my screenshot icon (the native capture), which I had pinned to the taskbar, was reported as no longer corresponding to anything. I therefore deleted it. I then went to search where I typed "screenshot", I saw it but couldn't launch the capture. Moreover, it was impossible to drag the capture to the desktop or to the taskbar. I right-clicked, but there was no "pin to taskbar".
I am not talking about capturing the entire screen, but about the one that allows choosing the area we want to capture.
I started over, and now there is completely no screenshot function at all. Not even in the list of applications.
I searched online, but I can't find this problem anywhere.
I use it all the time.
What should I do?
Thank you.
Configuration: Windows 10 laptop
Firefox
Office 365 (2016)

Hello,
You will find the tool here:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories
Type it all in the search bar at the bottom.
You will see the folder appear at the top, click on it to open it.
The shortcut for the tool looks like this:
Right-click on it and send it to the desktop or pin it to the taskbar or the start menu.
If the shortcut isn't there, we will put it in the folder (screenshot).
The tool is located at C:\Windows\system32 and it's called SnippingTool.
You just need to put the shortcut in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Accessories renaming it to Snipping Tool.
