Bonjour,
I have 1500 playing cards to create (!!!) with just the username and password that will change.
EX:
Username: 0001
Password: 1500
Username: 0002
Password: 1499
.....
I found the 'page numbering' trick for the username, but do you have any idea for the password to create an automatic decreasing sequence of numbers?
Your help could save me valuable time and help keep my sanity intact.
Thank you in advance,
Marie
Configuration: Macintosh / Chrome 56.0.2924.87

Personally, for tickets, blocks, etc., I use data merging.
I create lists in Excel and export them as text with a tab delimiter.
And in InDesign, I do the merge for a PDF record of the merged data. -
It is during the merge that this happens..
You create the first playing card, and inside you incorporate merge fields (User- Psw, etc..) from a TXT file created from Excel, as tab separators are required for InDesign.
To incorporate the fields and create the merge: Menu "Window/Utilities/Data Merge"
