MicroSD card access failed [New3DS]

Hello,
I am facing a problem.
Indeed, I wanted to invest in a new microSD card for my New Nintendo 3DS in order to store more data/games/software/etc.
What a pain it was! When I swapped the two microSD cards, the console displayed these lines:
"Failed to access the microSD card. The software saved on the microSD card cannot be displayed."
After conducting several online searches, I found no solution to my problem.
For your information, I switched from a
Toshiba 4GB SDHC card
to a
Verbatim 64GB SDXC card.
Is the problem due to the change of card type? If so, will I have to buy a 32GB SDHC microSD card?
