Installing OFFICE 2003 on WINDOWS 10

Hello,
I just acquired a PC with Windows 10 on which I want to install OFFICE 2003 using the installation CD.
The following error message occurs every time I try:
"Error executing file - the requested operation requires elevation" ??
Can you help me?

Hello,
To start the installation of Office 2003, right-click on the setup and choose run as administrator.

Thank you BAZFILE for your very helpful assistance, as it actually worked and I was able to install Office 2003. The only persistent issue is that when opening old files retrieved from a backup, the system consistently offers a one-month free trial of a recent version of Office available (before future purchase) on the PC and awaiting activation; Can we remedy this?

On your new computer, you have a trial version of Microsoft Office 2016 that opens your files. So right-click on one of these files and choose Open with.., select Microsoft Office 2003 and check the box Always use this application ......, then uninstall the trial version of Microsoft that came with your PC to keep only your Office 2003 version.

Thank you again, this information has been very helpful; I suppose that if I ever feel like opting for Office 2016, it will always be time to go to the Microsoft site.

Hello

Having followed your post, I am reaching out to you to resolve my Office 2003 installation on Windows 10.

On my new PC, I started by removing all elements of the Office 365 suite (30-day trial version) as you suggested.

Then, when attempting to install Office 2003 (I run SETUP and enter my 25 character/code keys), I always end up with the following error message:
"Error 1500. Another installation is in progress. You must complete it before proceeding with this installation."

However, I have clearly uninstalled all elements of the trial Office suite, and nothing else is running.

Is there a particular trick??

Yes, but not necessarily on Microsoft's site because we need to support competition, see HERE.
