Hello,
I know full well that there are plenty of forums on this subject, but I haven't found any clear answers.
I need my USB drive to be recognized as a USB drive and not as a removable disk in order to install Windows 10 on it.
Any solutions, please?

Hello,
You can't INSTALL Windows on a USB drive... The installed Windows on a PC must be on the internal disk of the PC...
Unless you are talking about the ISO file that's used for the installation?? But that's not the same thing.-
Hello,
yes, I expressed myself very poorly, actually to install Windows, I use this: https://www.microsoft.com/fr-fr/software-download/windows10
Except that this tool does not recognize my USB drive as it appears as a removable disk when it should be recognized as a USB drive. I should mention that it always appeared as a USB drive before, but not anymore, I don't know why.
Thank you for your response! -
In fact, if I download the ISO and make my USB bootable, an error appears during installation that takes you back to this forum: https://forums.commentcamarche.net/forum/affich-34380682-impossible-d-installer-windows-10-pro#p34380682
That's all, maybe the ISO is bad?
