Hello, I am unable to install .NET Framework 4.6. I searched on microsoft.com, and the version on my PC is 4.5. Why do I get the following message when I try to upgrade to 4.6: I really need this version because HMA-Pro-VPN requires it, and without it, I cannot install it. Thank you for your help. Have you checked in Control Panel
Programs and Features?

Check if KB3151804 is already installed.

Move the pointer to the bottom left above the Start button (or the tile under W8) and right-click to access the context menu and choose "Command Prompt (admin)":

Type:

msiexec /unreg

Then

msiexec /regserver

Try reinstalling.

Choose "Command Prompt (admin)":

Type:

sfc /scannow

Try a reinstallation.

Be careful not to interrupt during the procedures.

Is the update KB3151804 present?

.NET Framework Cleanup Tool offers to uninstall which version?
https://www.malekal.com/net-framework/#Supprimer_Net_Framework

If 4.6.2 is present, uninstall it.
Then try the installation again.

I'm taking care of it right now. I haven't had the time since last Thursday.

Version 4.6 since this is the one that Hide My Ass is trying to install.
If this version is being offered to you, it is properly installed.

create a Windows restore point before doing this, just in case you need to go back if there are issues.

Well, if worse comes to worst, you can reinstall, delete both, and see if HideMyAss can install it.

I removed the two and installed HMA which asked me for version 4.6 and lastly for version 4.6.2.
Once again, thank you for your help. Now, I just need to configure HMA.
