Hello,
I have a wireless mouse for which I lost the USB adapter. I would like to know if it's possible to replace it (in stores) or use another USB adapter that I've found (reprogrammed)?
Thank you in advance for your information
Jason.

Given the responses, I will go with mine which corresponds to what I think (to be verified then).
I believe that in a Linux environment, it is possible to access the drivers of connected devices. Of course, the source codes are likely protected and that of this no-name mouse is probably not available for download.
One idea would be to "play around" with programming the mouse by oneself with a hand-crafted driver (weak code protection, low optimization as well). However, it would be complicated to do so without at least some hardware documentation... So taking apart the mouse and guessing its functioning, I suppose?
