My keyboard turns on my PC.

Hello everyone.

For a while now I've been encountering a problem where when I press a key on my keyboard, the computer turns on. In itself, it's not really a problem, but having two cats, one morning my computer was on because one of them had the bright idea to settle on it.

I've done quite a bit of research and looked into the power-on option in the BIOS, but that option is indeed disabled for both mouse and keyboard.

I had the problem last year as well, but I found a post that resolved my issue in the Windows settings, but I can't seem to find it anymore.

When I go into my device manager and select the option for each port, the box to keep the port powered on when the PC is off is grayed out, so it is indeed disabled.

I have a G19 keyboard; I don't know if that might be related.
Thanks in advance, and I wish you a good evening.

Hello, thank you for the time you are taking to respond to me.
So, unless there is an option that allows replacing the standby with the off mode, it is indeed turned off, no light on the front is blinking (which it does when in standby), and I am indeed clicking on shut down and not on standby.

It was just a matter of formality, because you never know, but then is there a random key press, or is there a Power key on the keyboard?

I made some trials, and it seems that if I cut the power after shutting it down, when I plug the power back in, pressing the keyboard doesn't wake the PC up; it's as if, despite pressing shutdown, it goes into sleep mode.
