Hidden friends on FB even if not blocked :(

Hello,
my ex-boyfriend added some people as friends on his Facebook.. he went from 54 to 56 but these two people are invisible from my wall.. I asked a friend to check and she can't see the new friends either.. we created an account quickly and the same thing happened.. how is that possible?
