Hello,
Hello,
Since I got my MSI GE62 PC, I haven't been able to use my Bluetooth. I managed to install a driver to access it; I can enable it and even connect devices, but I cannot transfer files. When I right-click on the "Allow a device to connect" icon, it is grayed out. I don't know what to do; could you give me some advice? I'm all ears, I'm sure there's a simple manipulation, I don't want to send my PC back for something so trivial..
I'm on Win 8.1 ;) !
Best regards.
Configuration: Windows / Chrome 55.0.2883.87

So, you must have "skipped" the authentication process.
Explanation and example:
If you want to transfer files from your phone to your PC, go to the Bluetooth settings on your phone, enable the "make phone visible" option
click on the Bluetooth icon on the PC and then click on "add a device"
From there, you should see your phone appear in the list (on the PC)
now click on the phone that appears in the list
At this point, a pairing window will pop up: click on pair: a code will appear and on your phone, a window opens asking you to enter the code
enter the requested code and then press ok.
Now the PC indicates that your phone is paired.
Then go back to the Bluetooth icon on the PC, left-click then "receive a file" and leave it that way.
Take your phone, choose an image from the gallery, depending on the phone, you need to find the "send to" or "share" option and choose Bluetooth.
A list will appear showing connected devices.
Choose your PC..
look at your PC.. the image will download and go into your user folder in the "documents" folder .. otherwise, search a bit to find it
keep me updated
Don't forget to mark your post as "resolved" once the issue is fixed. Thank you
