How to delete a label

I can't seem to delete a label that I no longer need; how can I do that?

      these are the folders and subfolders in which I archive my emails according to their subject and that are located on the left under inbox

        you click on "more" at the bottom of the list, then manage labels, and there on the far right of the label you want to delete, you have the "delete" option.
