I just bought a GIGASET AS405. The number of rings before the answering machine picks up is too short. I would like to increase the duration. If someone can give me the solution, I would be grateful. Best regards,

Do you have an AS405 or an AS405A?
Only the AS405A has a built-in answering machine; otherwise, it's your operator's voicemail.
As mentioned earlier, the AS405A is programmed in terms of ring duration before triggering.
In France, rings last about 5s ==> 5 rings (25s)
If your device is connected to a box, the voicemail is usually set by default to 5 rings, and if you need to modify that, it can also be done via your customer area.
Your answering machine must be set to a value lower than what is set by your operator.
If you have an AS405A, see the excerpt on page 23 of the manual to check or change the setting
