The console does not open

Hello,

I have the game Delta Force Black Hawk Down version 1.2.2 on PC and I can't open the console to enter cheat codes. I've looked at some sites that indicate to press the ² or ~ key, but nothing happens.
I also have the pizzadox trainer v1.4.0.20 but there is no reaction.

This is the only game that is giving me trouble with entering cheats, and I would like to have information on how to launch the commands.

      nothing indicates to me whether the console is active or not in the options menu.

      During the game, a rectangular window appears at the bottom of the screen indicating:

      <<enter command>>

      but I don't think it's related to cheats.
