Error message when opening WORD

Hello,

I need to work on my school project and it's quite urgent. When I opened my computer this morning and tried to open my Word file, I got the following error message:

"Sorry... An error occurred and Word couldn't start. (24)"

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue, please?

P.S.: Perhaps important information is that with the school I had the opportunity to install Office 2016 (which I did) while I have always worked with Office 2013 Professional.

    Hello,

    Start an Office repair:
    Control Panel, Programs
    Select Microsoft Office => Modify, and choose quick repair.

    Be careful with the online repair as it starts with a complete uninstallation...
