Hello,
recently the Ethernet port behind my PC has turned red instead of green like I was used to seeing. I also noticed that when I download a file, after a few seconds the connection is lost and the speed shows 0 kb/s. I am on fiber and I have no issues when I go on YouTube watching 1080p for example, even when the download problem occurs.
If someone knows why the LED has turned red, please? And if anyone knows why there is a sudden loss of connection during a download, I’m all ears!
Thank you!
Have a good evening.

Hello
the LED indicates that there is no accessible network link.
1/unplug and plug back in? okay? if not
2/restart your ADSL modem
3/check your Windows updates
4/check the network settings of the network card (by default for example everything on auto) unplug / plug back in
let us know ....

1) I have unplugged and plugged it back in, but it doesn't change anything.
2) I also restarted the modem, but that didn't change anything.
3) I had a problem with Windows Update updates that wouldn't complete and the search was looping, but the issue is currently being resolved (so would the problem mentioned in my first post be fixed later? I will repost to let you know).
4) No issues encountered with the network card either.
PS: I saw online that the red/orange light means the connection is at 100 megabytes. That's my case with fiber. What is surprising is that I can easily stream 4K videos on YouTube.
PS 2: I will post one last message to give an update.
