Hello,

I changed the hard drive of my computer and I would like to know if I can find on my old disk a list of history and favorites? I have the means to connect my old disk via USB.

In the searches I conducted, I can only find solutions directly through IE, but that's not possible here.

Thank you in advance.

    Hello,

For the favorites, you go to the drive via USB, then Users, and then enter your user directory where you will find a favorites directory. You just need to copy its contents and place them in the new favorites directory of the new drive.

As for the browsing history, there I don't really see the point except for the passwords. In this case, you will need to re-enter them one by one.

Thank you Mollari for the quick response.

In fact, I had gotten used to browsing the history to access several sites. So I hadn't saved them in the favorites.

So, is there no way to recover them? There must be a log somewhere?! For example, I found that in Firefox there is supposedly a database file.

    Thank you.

The browsing history is located in:

      :\documents and settings\[Username]\Local settings\Temporary internet files

But well, it might be a bit of a mess in that directory.
