Error on the page with Internet Explorer

Hello,

I have instead of the "e" from internet explorer when I load a page on the internet the message at the bottom "error on the page" with a small yellow triangle instead of the blue "e". I have to refresh my page every time to load it completely without errors.

What can I do to fix this?
Thank you for your response.
Michel

Michel 570,
The problem with IE happens on all websites for you? If not, double-click on the infamous yellow triangle and give me the error message that will appear in the window.

I had the same thing, and I did everything that was recommended but still got the same result.
Then, I uninstalled a game that I had downloaded from o1 net and everything went back to normal.
Check if something is conflicting!!
Hoping to have helped you.

Hello Michel 570,
have you tried with another browser (Mozilla Firefox for example)? If so, is there the same problem?

Michel 570,
to try to solve your problem, open IE, menu "tools"
--> Internet options
--> Advanced
in the "Browsing" section, uncheck the box "Show a notification for every script error".

2nd solution:
still in the tools menu:
--> Internet options
--> Advanced
and there you click on "Restore defaults". This resets the original configuration of IE. Hoping to have answered your question. See you later

Thank you Maya for your responses so far.
However, the problem is not solved as the box was not checked and restoring the original configuration does not change anything either.

I also thank you for introducing me to Mozilla Firefox as I was surprised by its speed and I will keep it as my default browser.
Do you have any further ideas regarding IE?

Thank you for your responses
Michel

After several forums, I solved my problem thanks to Firefox, which told me in English the exact error: I needed to install Adobe Flash Player, and it worked perfectly.

Hi
I had the same problem which I solved by reinstalling my IE
And here's how:
1- Insert the Windows CD
2- Go to the Control Panel, then Add or Remove Programs
3- Then "Add or Remove Windows Components"
4- Uncheck "IE" then click Next and continue, this will automatically uninstall your "IE"
5- Do the same thing but this time check "IE" to reinstall it
And the problem is solved

I hope I was able to help you.

Hi, I'm new to the forum, but it doesn't matter. I had the same problem as you. In my opinion, the solution is to insert the Windows XP CD, boot from it, and use the repair option to fix errors in the core of Windows. That's the source of the problem with IE. If you have other suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks a lot!

Hello Maya,

I'm mainly encountering the problem with my ISP's homepage, but also occasionally elsewhere.

When I double-click on the yellow triangle, I get this:

line: 2
char: 7
Error: incorrect character
code: 0
url: http://neufportail.fr/

Thank you
See you later

Michel 570,
this error message is caused by an error in the page design or an incompatibility between the page code and your browser. You can try updating IE:

https://www.touslesdrivers.com/index.php?v_page=3&v_code=1835

or completely reinstalling IE:
https://www.01net.com/telecharger/windows/Internet/navigateur/fiches/13759.html

But if you enjoyed Mozilla Firefox, why not use it: it is much more secure for browsing the Internet (even though I understand that you mainly wanted to understand and solve your problem). I hope these last manipulations resolve the issue. Keep me updated.

Good evening Maya,

It’s true that I enjoyed Firefox and I will keep it, I will troubleshoot the issue hoping for the release of IE7. Really, Firefox is great.

In the meantime, thank you for your advice even though I haven't fixed the problem, I really appreciated your concern and your research.

Best regards

Michel

Hello,
I've had this problem several times with new installations of IE. Each time, the issue was resolved by installing or reinstalling Java2.

Re hello, I wanted to let you know that I solved my problem (about:blank) with Spybot. Now I have another issue with JavaScript to create my winks on Kiwe. If someone has had the same problem, it would be great if they could explain to me how to do it. Thanks in advance.

Je me demande comment je peux dépasser ça car cela me ralentit. Merci.

Salut à tous, voici mon souci depuis 4 jours.
