How to recover a Minecraft account using its username

Hi!

It's been about 3 years since I last played Minecraft and I would like to recover my account, but I don’t remember either the email address or my password. I only remember my username. So I wanted to know if it’s possible to recover my Minecraft account using my username. And if sadly not, I would like to know if my username will disappear one day because if I create another account, I would like to keep that username.

To find out the email you used, you need to go into the game's files and then into: launcher_profiles.json

there should normally be a line with your email ^^

You need to go to the site minecraft.net, then go to the login section. There will be an option saying "forgot password," click on it, enter your email address, then check your email; there will be an email from Mojang to reset your password.
