Fake Account ~ Identity Solved

Hello!

I am currently looking for some help to figure out who is behind a fake account.

Indeed, it has now been a week, maybe two, since a certain person has been having fun creating fake accounts in the hope of getting information from me, and I have no idea who it could be. This person is quite close to me, as I understood from a small conversation that they know two of my close friends. I had my little idea of who might be behind this picture of a young girl, so I wanted to try comparing the IP addresses of these two people based on the sources of the Facebook messages, but I can't find anything and if I understood correctly, there’s a chance that the IP addresses change all the time? In that case, what can I do to identify this impersonator? I wouldn’t go as far as to file a complaint since this is just childish games, but it bothers me not knowing who it is. Maybe there’s a way to know roughly where the person is, just to give me a lead?

Hello,

Yes, its IP must be dynamic I think. So it is impossible to specify which one will be the right one.
Then it's simple, the "bait".
You just have to lure it into a trap with a friend of yours who might know the person, then try to get them to slip 2-3 hints, or try to put some pressure on them, but be careful, it shouldn't come from you.
But have you already sent a PM to one of those accounts? (if yes, what responses have you received?)

Hello everyone!

First of all, thank you for your responses, I wasn't expecting to get them so quickly.

Last time, I managed to figure out someone by their writing style and certain expressions, etc. But with this one, I'm really struggling haha. I've tried to ask him discreet personal questions, tried to put pressure on him by asking tricky questions, and that's how I came across some clues that make me think of a certain person in my contacts, but I have no desire to accuse him without being sure. This person randomly added three people from my contacts, probably to act like it, and one of them tried to talk to him, but it didn't matter, he only responds to me.

@yazu: Yes, I try to talk regularly with him in the hope of discovering more things, but the only things he does is ask me basic questions, questions about my relationships, and insists on the fact that he is gay and supposedly wants to be with me (I am single, so it’s probably not the work of any boyfriend).

I think the only way to find out who he is is to persist and hope that he reveals himself or block him and forget about him forever x)
