Hello,
I upgraded to Windows 10 on my HP Envy x2 a few weeks ago.
After the computer restarted, all the features of the laptop were "out" (keyboard, mouse, and even the screen touch, Bluetooth ... and thus the Wi-Fi).
Facing repeated error messages, I reinstalled a version of Windows 10 downloaded from the Microsoft website. I then reinstalled all the drivers from the HP site, which are working... Except for one. Indeed, I cannot install the one for Wi-Fi, I get an error message (like "SETUP.exe has stopped working" as soon as I open a command prompt).
I noticed there are quite a few problems with Wi-Fi. I hope a kind soul (or souls) will be able to help me.
I am just starting in tinkering, so if I need to provide information, please give me instructions, I don’t know much.
Thank you all.
Daniel

Hello,
Press Windows + R
Type --> devmgmt.msc and OK.
Give the hardware ID of the wifi card
Right-click on the device
Properties
Details tab
Select the hardware ID.
It should look like this as an example:
--> PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_1026&SUBSYS.......
If necessary, check --> here
Is Windows 10 32 or 64 bits?
