Hello, I would like to present my problem.
I need to provide a document (LOGO) with a CutContour created in Illustrator.
I have done this before, but the issue now is that I have texts that already have a contour (white) and I want to place my CutContour on the outside of this contour.
I can't put two contours on a text, and I don't see the solution.
If anyone knows how to do this, I would be very grateful!
Configuration: Mac OS X (10.11.6) / Safari 9.1.2

However, when you transform the trace into a surface, you get an outline around the surface, thus also inside the letter. You therefore need to dissociate the two traces to keep only one and finally associate it with the letter (vectorized).
I can't exactly explain the manipulation with Illustrator, (I hate using it) I use Corel-Draw and my plotter has a plugin to control it.
Hello Argraph
And by duplicating the text?
A layer without stroke above, a layer with stroke below
We merge the fill-stroke of the bottom layer, which will therefore be white
Then, we can add a stroke to it again
