Hello,
I have a Samsung J7. Yesterday, I wanted to change my pattern because I thought it was too easy to guess. So after changing my pattern, I wanted to test it to see if it works, and it did with no issues. A few minutes later, I tried to unlock my phone, and I couldn't unlock it even by reproducing the pattern... I believe I'm doing the right pattern but I'm 95% sure I'm still trying to figure out what I might have set ^^ I've tried too many times, and now it's been 2 hours since it's been locked... I've tried to see if I could unlock it with my Google account, but no message came through, the same for remote lock on the Android Device Manager, but nothing works... So I would like to know if you have a method for me to finally unlock it. I really don't want to reset it because I have too many important things on this phone (yes, I didn't back up the files I want to keep on my PC...)
Thank you in advance!
Configuration: Windows 7 / Chrome 53.0.2785.116

Hello,
If it's a pattern:
After several attempts with the pattern, it should prompt you to go through the Gmail box, provided that the phone is connected via mobile data or Wi-Fi, you will be able to use this solution.
If it asks you, enter the Gmail address associated with the phone and the corresponding password, this will allow you to regain access to it.
Otherwise, I invite you to read this: https://www.commentcamarche.net/infos/25887-ccm-et-le-deblocage-de-telephones/
And this: https://www.commentcamarche.net/infos/25871-pourquoi-commentcamarche-n-aide-pas-a-trouver-un-mot-de-passe/
Unfortunately, you will not get additional help for this type of issue on this forum, next time we can only invite you to memorize the pattern you use and, if needed, write it down somewhere, so you can retrieve it if you forget.
Best regards,
