Hello everyone,
I have an "ultra thin" Samsung SE-208 external CD/DVD drive. When I connect it to my laptop (Lenovo Yoga), it doesn't seem to be recognized: the icon appears and disappears alternately in the directory. I tried to remove the device in the Device Manager and then replug the drive: it still crashes.
Sometimes the drive is recognized, but in that case, I get an "error" in the progress bar of the extraction. So... I cannot extract any CDs, or at best, only partially (and with a lot of patience)...
Is there a driver I am missing? Is there an incompatibility with Windows Media Player?
The drive is recent, I would be surprised if it were already faulty.
Thank you for your help
