Hello, Hello,
I have a Toshiba, and it suddenly stopped working. On first startup, a message appears telling me that
The device needs to be repaired. Following some advice, I removed the battery and plugged the laptop into the power, and now
I have the infamous black screen "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" appearing. I checked the forums, where I saw that I needed to find the boot by pressing f2 or f12 at startup. However, nothing works, not even with the other keys. Always the same message. Can someone help me?
Thank you in advance, have a good day!

Whether you have a drive or not, you first need to find the installation file for Windows in the versions I've mentioned...

-- DVD drive, you can connect one via a USB port..
-- Otherwise, install these files onto a USB key using RUFUS
    https://rufus.akeo.ie/?locale=fr_FR

That's how you can do it... if the hard drive is not damaged.
