Convert Ethernet to Wi-Fi

Hello, I am a student and I reside in a housing where I only have an internet connection via an Ethernet cable. I would like to know if there is a key or a router that allows me to convert this wired internet access into Wi-Fi? I recently got a MacBook, and my Ethernet cable is therefore no longer compatible. So no wifi in the room?
For not too much money (you're a student) there is this.
You plug the ethernet cable into it and then connect to this box via wifi.
