Hello,
I have an XP, which is quite old and therefore slow...
I have been using Avira for years without any issues, but recently it scans the entire system every time it starts up, and it takes a long time, very long...
I don't know how to limit this scan.
I thought about uninstalling Avira (A. Launcher has also been installed) to reinstall the latest version of Avira.
What do you think?
What should I avoid or what can I do to improve the performance?

    Good evening!
    I've been loyal to Avira for 3 years now.
    If it analyzes the PC as soon as it starts up, it's because there's an infection or a strong suspicion of one.
    You should switch to full disinfecting mode; I recommend this link:

    The software is obviously to be downloaded from the PUBLISHER's site, not from 01Net, Clubic, or other infected stuff ;-)

      Thank you, Luc, I solved the problem by uninstalling Avira and its suite, I installed Avast and it's better now.
      I'm not saying Avast is better, I was very satisfied with Avira for many years, but it had become unmanageable.

      We'll see... I had the opposite problem ;-) Avast is very difficult to uninstall, especially if you don't have a custom uninstallation software on hand...
