Hello,
I'm using PowerPoint to create a slideshow. I used the "Beatrice" template that I found online. My slideshow is finalized but I can't display the slide numbers despite my searches and manipulations.
Could this be an issue with the template? I tried adding content to the slide master but nothing works, I can't display the slide numbers.
If someone could help me I would be grateful.
Best regards,
Configuration: Windows / Firefox 48.0

Hello Snorcky,
not knowing how the slide master is made, I'm going to give you a method that should work "every time" ;-)
- go to the master slide and click on the master slide (the largest slide, at the top of the list in the left pane)
- create a text box in the chosen place for the slide number
- in the [Insert] tab, click on the "Slide Number" icon
You just need to format it.
I'm not going to have you use the placeholder provided for this purpose by Microsoft since version 2007, which I hardly ever use, because the numbers then become accessible in the slides themselves and can be accidentally moved, etc.

It has been very helpful to me.
THANK YOU!
I don't know why I could no longer find this feature. As a result, I foolishly followed Microsoft's advice that wants me to use its new feature, and I couldn't understand why my slide numbers had become movable. Thanks to your tips, I was able to find the good old page numbers that are in the slide master and do not move from their place.
