SERVICE HOST: LOCAL SYSTEM is using up all my bandwidth!!

Hello,

I just acquired a new laptop (a ROG) and I already have a problem: in the task manager, I see a process named SERVICE HOST: LOCAL SYSTEM consuming all my internet connection (1.5Mbits/s), which prevents me from browsing the internet properly: pages take 3 hours to load (when they manage to load...). Moreover, I don't have a good speed to begin with...

And when I try to end the process by clicking "end task," it tells me "stopping this process will cause instability or shutdown of Windows, which will result in the loss of unsaved data. Do you really want to continue?"

So how can I resolve this issue? Because for now, my PC is unusable for internet.

Thank you in advance for your responses.

I managed to do it like this:
First, you should know that this service host is a Windows 10 feature meant to share your connection with other PCs locally (compared to a network) or via the internet to act as a "relay" for sending updates.

To disable this, go to Settings -> Update & Security -> (in the Windows Update tab): Advanced Options -> Choose how updates are delivered -> disable the option (then check by restarting to see if the option is still disabled, it happens sometimes)
and there you go :)
