Hello,
I have an application with an icon in the taskbar that I also want to place on the desktop. This application doesn’t appear in the list of the Start menu + All apps and I cannot find it when I go through Settings and Personalization.
I have the address on the disk in the form of "C:\Program Files (x86)\Ton-Appli\Zip\Appli\Appli.exe" and this program starts very well from the taskbar.
How can I fix this and place the same icon on the desktop?
Thank you in advance.

Hello

Does the Appli.exe launch this program from the folder?

If so, right-click on it and choose Send to -> Desktop to create a shortcut

Done, with Windows 10, you have to look for it, not find it, and with CCM everything goes back to how it was with Windows 7. To rename an icon that is pinned to the taskbar, I don't know how to go about it either. Is there a way to do it?

It is possible to rename a shortcut on the desktop, but I don't think it's possible in the taskbar.

Or it may be a disastrous solution by renaming the executables in each program folder, but there's a high risk of disturbing Windows.
