The touchpad on my Blackberry was glitching: SOLUTION

Hello,
About a month ago, my bb (Blackberry) suddenly started to bug out, without any drop or other incidents beforehand.
The trackpad worked in the menus (which I could access via shortcuts) but not on the home screen.
I searched in vain for a solution on all the posts: I removed and replaced the battery, turned it off by pressing the hang-up button, pressed the phone between my thumb and index finger at the trackpad, tapped it against my knee, dropped it from a meter, and increased the distance from the ground... anyway, I tried a ton of solutions and, since it still worked and I attributed sentimental value to it, I didn’t feel like taking it apart for fear of “killing” it.
Then one day, while I had gotten used to doing 50 manipulations to access my messages (going through 3 different shortcuts and typing “msg” followed by the name of my contact), I pressed the "shift" key while moving the trackpad and: revelation, the cursor worked!
This also works with the "alt" key. Then one day, the trackpad started working normally again o-O.
Anyway, all this to say that there is a solution for anyone who doesn’t want to take apart their bb (or who, like me, hasn’t found the screws).
So, I hope my post can help some of you, and I wish you a pleasant day.
