Bose Solo 5 soundbar issue

Hello,

I bought a Bose Solo 5 soundbar.

I connected it using optical, everything is fine, but sometimes there is a pause in the sound (like a mute) of 1 or 2 seconds.
I don't understand why this happens; is there a specific setting to adjust?

Configuration: iPhone / Safari 9.0

    Have you checked your connections?
    Is your optical cable of good quality? for example, one with a good sheath:

    And not a piece of junk like this:

      Indeed, the cable provided by Bose is more similar to the second one.

      Fiber optic is quite fragile; I experienced a case of spontaneous breakage at home without having touched anything...;-(
      A brand like Bose should provide a quality cable.
