Set up Samsung TV and Fransa SAT CI+ card

Hello,

I just received my Notion module card model ci+ 1.3 (new generation), which I use with my Samsung TV UE46D6500VSXSF. It is not on the Fransat compatibility list but seems to have the necessary technical characteristics.

My card seems to be recognized correctly because the menu -> System -> Common interface is accessible and shows the Neonotion and Transat modules.

I should note that until now I used an external Fransat decoder and my antenna is OK!

In my TV, I have the option to choose from many satellites, but none with the name Eutelsat 5WA or Atlantic Bird 3. I can create a custom configuration. It asks for LNB power (off/on), LNB settings (default transponder, mode dieqc, LNB oscillator low = 9750, LNB oscillator high = 10600 MHz, 22kHz tone = auto), and positioner settings.

A priori these are the classic settings.

Then when I start scanning for channels, it says "unable to scan channels. Selected satellite contains no transponder information."

I did find information about Eutelsat here:
https://fr.kingofsat.net/hdtvpack-fransat.php

But I can't relate it to the TV menus.

I’ve searched a lot and hope you can help me.

Thanks in advance,
Anne

All CI+ TVs with DVB-T/T2-S2-C2 tuners are compatible with Fransat V.1.3 CAM modules if the dish is pointed at Eutelsat 5WA 5°W. The name of the satellite used is not a hindrance to memorizing the parameters (7 to 8 transponders) used by Fransat or Eutelsat.
