What is a CI card?

Hello everyone

I just bought a Samsung LE37M86BD television (which I must admit is a very beautiful TV with stunning finish and picture quality) and I also have a PS3 and it's great!!!!!!!!

Anyway, that's not why I'm asking for your expertise, but rather about the small slot at the back of the TV where you can place a small card called a CI card.

I would like to know what it is for, how to find one, and if it's practical

The CI card allows you to see the other channels in the TNT list (Canal J, Eurosport, TPS)
