Hello,
I hope I'm in the right forum...
I bought a portable DVD player Takara VR 149B, with USB and SD ports.
I thought I could easily play movies from the USB stick, coming from an .avi or .mp4 file.
I tried converting them to MPEG using Freemake (I bought the full version...) but I ended up with a video with no sound when I played it on the player!
I convert it using Xvid and MP3 for the sound, but I can't get it to work...
and I'm going on vacation in 3 weeks!
Thanks for your help, I'm in despair for my son who is waiting to be able to watch everything during the trip...

Configuration: Windows / Firefox 47.0

Thank you for your response, but even in Mpeg4, with Freemake I don't have sound on the player (I should specify that it works with DVDs...)

The DVDs will be commercial ones, of course, and possibly personal ones made in MPEG2 720x576, and for MP4 files, it's via the USB key.

    Hello
I read: •Connector type: USB (4-pin USB, Type A), AV cable port
    •Media type: CD-R, CD-RW, DVD, CD
    •Supported digital video standards: MPEG-4
•Features: Contrast adjustment, brightness adjustment, rotating screen
Type mpeg4 on the web, it's a container.....
