Hello, my portable DVD player no longer reads DVDs. Can I connect an external DVD drive via USB? Will it work? Thank you for your replies.
Sincerely, Sandra

    Hello,

DVD players deteriorate over time... (them too)

Connecting a DVD player to a USB port, in theory yes... However, you should know that a DVD player requires too much power from a USB port... it cannot supply it... So, a player with its own power supply is needed...

It's a portable DVD player for the car from the brand Scott! It's very useful for long car trips with our children ???? I wanted to connect an external drive like the ones that are connected to a laptop but I don't know if it's compatible? Thank you for your reply!
