Chain search on Sony TV for Atari 2600

I recently got an Atari CX-2600S2, which unfortunately connects via antenna (rather than SCART). That didn’t deter me; I did a bit of web digging, and it turns out the console uses a VHF band. But I no longer have the manual for my CRT TV (and it seems no one online still has the manual) which is a Sony Trinitron KV-21M1B, and I don’t know how to perform a channel search on it. Also, I have a Haier LE32F6000T, much newer, as well as a Phillips VR608 VCR in case there’s no way to make it work on my CRT.

So to summarize, the REAL question is: How do you perform a channel search on my Sony TV (if it supports VHF), and if it doesn’t, are my two other devices capable of receiving VHF?

    Hello,
You should find on the menu ...search...

Well, exactly, if I’m asking here, it’s because the menu isn’t clear! There are only icons to begin with, and on top of that there’s no numbers, only indicator bars. The only time there’s something written is next to one of those bars, which must probably be the frequency setting (even though I have a nagging doubt about it) and they’re either VH, or C, or VF (I think). Anyway, I don’t know why but my TV seems dead; when I plugged it back in this morning it won’t turn on, but that’s another problem.

And then indeed, I did ZERO research on my new TV or on my VCR, because I would have preferred to have it on my CRT.
Thanks anyway for trying that kind of thing, because it could have been a solution, if I weren’t so handy ^^
