Hello,
When I want to use the "color matching," I encounter the following problem:
I open two photos, arrange them in 2 vertical thumbnails, select one of the two, then go to "Image"/ "Adjustments"/ "Color Match" and the panel that appears does not correspond to the one in the tutorial (with source file and destination file).
The panel that appears for me is:
"Color Match
Load 3D LUT
Load an abstract profile
Load DeviceLink profile Ok Cancel Preview Dither"
A screenshot would have been clearer, but it is not accepted.
I must be making a mistake.
Could you help me? Thank you in advance!

Here it is!!!! Everything is explained!
When I go to "image"/ "settings": here is the link to the window that opens:
https://www.cjoint.com/c/FGqkHXmVQIz
We can see that there is no "color search" option, however there are two "color matching" options. I hadn't noticed that and I always clicked on the one at the top which must correspond to "color search".
So I clicked on the one at the bottom and IT WORKS!!!!!
This is therefore an absurdity on the part of Photoshop.
Thank you everyone for your help!!!!

Hello
A screenshot would have been clearer, but it's not allowed
Normally yes
but if it doesn't work, you can host your captures here:
https://www.cjoint.com/
and paste the links in your message
Edit: please, if you could also provide the link to the tutorial so we can see what it's about
Thanks

Thank you for the advice.
Here is the link to download the panel that appears:

I hope all this will work. Thanks again!

I give you the procedure in a few images:
- open a first image, for example Venice:
- open a second image, for example the ice cap
I stay on the second image because that’s the one I want to modify
- image → adjustments → color matching
- in the "source" selector I designate the Venice image and click ok
Agreed?
Well, you take two images from the internet or from your computer and do it again, there’s no reason it shouldn’t work and you also don’t need half an hour of blah-blah on YT to understand that.

ok
Have you tried using the color matching panel with different images?
If so and it's still the same, you can try
- resetting the settings by pressing ctrl+alt+shift when you open Photoshop
- uninstalling, cleaning, and reinstalling if the reset has no effect
And if that doesn't solve the problem, the best advice I can give you is to report it to customer service:

It's still weird that Photoshop opens this kind of window...
It assumes that it has detected in an image some information that requires a conversion... LUT files are generally sourced from XnView...
You wouldn't be using this viewing software by chance...
