Hello,

I have a Samsung J1 2100 and I would like to be able to search for my contacts using the index that should appear on one side, but I can't find it. Currently, my contacts are sorted alphabetically, and I have to scroll up and down to access my contact. When I need to call Zorro, for instance, you can imagine how much scrolling I have to do!
Thank you for your reply.

Hello,

Well... what’s stopping you?!

Just slide over the letter Z in the sidebar of the alphabet and you’ll reach the letter you’re looking for directly.

Actually, I don't have that sidebar.

In that case, which Android version do you have?

Hello

Read your manual page 47
You have a search bar at the top of your contacts list; just type in your letters

Thank you for the info: I already had this solution, which I find much less convenient than the index search on the side, because everything shows up as soon as that letter appears in the name or surname. But apparently, this doesn't exist on the J1!!!
But thanks above all.
