Hello,
I own a Honor (HUAWEI) smartphone and my uncle has a Samsung smartphone.
Our mutual operator is ORANGE.
My contacts were saved on my associated Gmail - Drive account.
Following successive issues related to this backup, I deleted it about 6 months ago and "entered" all my contacts again using only the phone's storage.

To my great surprise, and with several witnesses to support, I found my contacts that correspond to those saved on the Gmail account on my uncle's phone.......

Knowing that I have never opened an email account on my phone at his place, nor used his live box.

This is very annoying and we do not understand how this could have happened.

Can someone tell me how this could happen and who to contact?

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows / Chrome 79.0.3945.88

Hello,

Magic doesn't exist... So either your uncle hacked your Google account at some point, or you connected his smartphone to your Google account at some time, or you shared (or delegated) your Google contacts with your uncle on a day of confusion...

Thank you for the quick response.
My uncle was unable to "hack" my Google account because he is very old and didn't even realize it.
Also, I haven't shared my contacts with him for the same reason.
And I've not connected his smartphone either; by the way, my contacts are perfect since I stopped using backup.

Moreover, I will need to delete them from his phone.....

However, I am sending him emails from this account.....
