[Open Office] Disable Hyphens

Solved

Hello everyone,

I am currently typing a very simple text on Open Office. When I want to create a list with dashes, I start with a tab and then I enter the content of the first item in the list. However, when I press "Enter" to go to the next item, Open Office deletes my tab and replaces my dash with another dash, and it does this for each item.
I find that it looks worse with Open Office's auto-correction, so I would like to know if it's possible to change the auto-correction settings regarding dashes and other numbering. If so, how do I do it?

Thank you in advance!

Hello,

The solution to your problem is as follows:

in swriter:
-> click on "tools"
-> choose "auto-correction"
-> tab "options"
-> uncheck "use numbering - symbol: *"
-> click on "OK"

That's it.

Happy typing!

Hello,

My first response was about a problem with tabulation.
The solution to your problem when entering tabulation is as follows:

in swriter:
-> click on "tools"
-> choose "auto-correction"
-> tab "options"
-> uncheck in column S: "remove spaces and tabulation at the beginning and end of the paragraph"
-> click on "OK"

There you go, that's all.

For other modifications, you just need to modify the "auto-correction" function.

Happy typing!
