Hello
Being useless at computers, I am faced with a problem that seems unsolvable for me!!!
I have music in MP3 format on a USB stick, but my vehicle (Range Rover) only supports FAT or FAT 32 formats (according to the manufacturer’s manual). I’ve tried everything; the titles appear, but there’s no music playback. How can I convert all my music on my USB stick from MP3 to FAT or FAT 32??????
Thank you in advance for any advice and responses you might send me

Hello,
It's not the music but the USB drive that needs to be formatted to FAT32. To do this, simply insert the USB drive into the PC, right-click on it = format = make sure to select the FAT32 format.

Hello.
Fat or fat 32 are hard drive formats for receiving files; they are not audio file formats.
Check that your USB drive containing your music is in fat or fat 32 by plugging it into a PC, then right-clicking on it and selecting properties, where it will be mentioned.
If it is in ntfs, you need to format it (right-click), which will erase all its data, so back it up first, and set it to fat32 format.

Olive30,
The issue you will have is that an MP3 file on NTFS has properties that cannot be copied to a USB stick or drive formatted in FAT32.
I have the same problem as you with a mini and this BMW system.
What you need, and which I haven't found yet, is a software that allows you to clean your MP3s into MP3s that are copyable to a FAT32 USB stick.
