Hello,
I know that there are cartridges at Action for 10 euros. So, I think that considering my student budget, I prefer to buy a printer that accepts these cartridges. The only problem is that I don't know if the cartridge is compatible with the printer.
Here is the link for the cartridges http://www.action.be/fr/catalogsearch/result/?q=cartouche+encre
(there are indeed brands but not the one I find in stores)
In the store, there was a Canon Pixma MG5752 or MG3650
Are the cartridges compatible with these printers?
Or do you have any recent models that I can find in stores that are inexpensive and of decent quality?
Thank you in advance for your answers :)

Hello,
When I decided to replace my deceased Lexmark S405, I did the same analysis as you. I looked for a new printer with compatible cartridges available easily and at unbeatable prices.
After various research, I found these cartridges that Action offered for a few printer models. Since they had Canon-compatible ones, I chose the Canon MG5650, which was also on promotion at the time. I checked the label to ensure they worked well with this model as a cartridge can be compatible with several models from each brand.
That very evening, I directly tried the compatible cartridges when setting up the printer without using the original ones provided in the box. Apparently, I was told that this was not recommended. However, everything worked on the first try, and I've never had any problems since (knock on wood). So I haven't used a single original cartridge in it for over a year. Only Action-compatible ones. Moreover, the original price for the pack is €9.90, but there was a deal at the time, and they cost €7.80 something. I stocked up.
So, your reasoning holds because that's exactly what I did. It's a change from my old printer that would jam when a single color was empty and whose refillable or generic cartridges on the market cost more than those from Action.
