Hello,
I would like to retrieve the "texts" entered by the client in my PowerPoint file to transform them into Document Properties.
For example, when creating a new PPT, a text field with the description "Click to add a title" allows me to capture what I write in it to set it as a document property. So, I would like to do the same for other existing properties. Here is an example:

Thank you for considering my question.

Thank you in advance.

Configuration: Windows 7

Hello,

Word is capable of such things because it has the Properties fields, which PowerPoint doesn't know.

So, we would need to use macros, but we will have to be precise and work on templates with identical slide names, with the same text boxes, etc. If the text to be retrieved is always on the title slide, it’s doable; otherwise, it’s going to run into issues at some point.

One solution could be to display a Userform that would fill in both the properties and possibly the title page at the same time.
However, be careful; the title page of a PowerPoint presentation is a specific slide that is not treated the same way as other slides and has its limitations: for instance, it does not accept additional placeholders.
