Hello*
Last night, I was quietly watching a series, and suddenly boom, a grey screen. I thought OK, I'll restart, and then I got to the desktop, but 10 seconds later, boom, grey screen again. Currently, it doesn't even get to the desktop anymore; I only get the grey screen just before. I tried to do a recovery, but it didn't work. I went into safe mode, but when you don't know where the problem is coming from, it doesn't help much ^^'. HALP plz :D

So the gray screen can also be a hardware issue, like a dead graphics card...
You're going to try this first.
Turn off the PC.
Unplug it.
Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
Plug the PC back in.
And turn it on.
And let me know what happens...

It's working, thank you, it's great !!!!
Thank you for this post that is helpful to me today. My computer is old and it crashed during a bad manipulation. ????
Thank you very much! Very simple and effective, it really helped me out... I had ended up switching the screens of my two PCs (of the same model), disassembling them, etc... without success...
Thanks again!
