Hello,
I have a "visa transcash" payment card, which is a prepaid card that can be recharged at tobacco shops, similar to an Orange mobicarte; so it is not linked to a bank account.
Having no bank account, I used this card to open a PayPal account. The account is created, and the card is linked to the PayPal account.
However, when I try to transfer money from my transcash card to my PayPal balance, the site asks me for bank details, which are accessible via the bank account number, but transcash cards are not linked to such details.
I have consulted several topics on different forums, and I have read that such a transaction is possible, although I still do not understand the procedure to follow for this.
My question is therefore: what is the method to transfer money from my transcash card to my PayPal account without having to provide the bank account details that I do not have?

Paypal is not a bank (in France) and does not offer a credit service.
To use your "visa transcash" card, (which is considered as an instant payment), you must have another declared funding source in your Paypal account, and this source is linked to a bank account.
All of this is for the purpose of tracking financial flows and combating money laundering.

That means I will be able to use my Transcash card on PayPal only if there is already a registered bank account?

When I make a payment on PayPal, the amount is debited from my Transcash card without any problem, and I have never provided the details of my "regular" bank account. That's why I use Transcash; of course, you need to check that you have the necessary funds on the card. I reload it by purchasing coupons at the tobacco shop.
